We had wedding day Yankees, not the Angels! During the ceremony just before the vows, I noticed my beautiful bride Sharon losing the battle in stiffling the waterworks along with her semi-lovely sisters doing duty as the bridesmaids. Thinking quickly, (a highly unusual event for me), I flashed my New York Yankee logo I had pinned to the inside of my tux. From sniffles to snickers, the Yankees win the day!

At our reception, our thirsty guests ran us out of hard liquor twice so a quick run to the Fairview liquor store by a friend extended our nuptual festivities.

The Yankees rescued the wedding and the fine folks at the Fairview liquor store saved the reception...and Sharon and Leo live happily ever after!
